Leadership & Volunteering
Throughout my highschool career I have volunteered and contributed to many organizations, such as the Austin Public Library, Maharashtra Maja, Space Center Houston, and more.

This page highlights some of my experiences!
NASA Space Center Houston - Guest Experience Volunteer
At NASA, I spend 4 weeks volunteering at Space Center Houston. Here I spent time on the floor of the museum, and gave presentations about Artemis, Space Shuttle, Apollo, Gemini, Mercury, Redstone, and more to guests. For my contribution of over 100 hours, I received the Gold Level Presidents Volunteer & Service award.

CyberPatriot
CyberPatriots is a cybersecurity competition created by the Air and Space Forces Association. Here I have competed in tournaments on the regional, state, and national level over my 2 years of competing. In my first year, my team won 3rd place in the state of Texas, and in my second year, as Vice President, my team advanced to the National Semi-Final level, a placement our school had not yet received in its 6 years of competing.

Debate
I have been competing in debate and speech since I was in middle school, where I was the champion for UIL Modern Oratory. In high school, I compete in the Varsity Level Congressional Debate competition. I was made an officer in my sophomore year, and I was promoted to team captain in my senior year. I have qualified for debate nationals for 2 consecutive years now.

National Honor Society
I was inducted into the National Honor Society in my Junior year. Here I will volunteer for my community through service projects and events.

Spanish Honor Society
I was inducted into the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (Spanish Honor Society) in my freshman year, and I spent time volunteering and helping Hispanic communities in Austin through food drives, parades, and help with education.

Austin Public Library
Here I volunteered as a teen book reviewer. I read and wrote reviews for 12 books, and they were published in a video format on Austin Public Library's Website.

Maharashtra Majha
Maharashtra Majha is an independent 501 (c) (3) non profit organization. Here we play traditional Indian Dhols and Tashas. We play all across Austin, and we have also performed in front of the Texas Capitol. Here I play as a dhol and tasha player, and I am the leader of the Dhol Tasha Youth group.
