Words & Music
This page highlights my experiences in Language and Music!

Classical Guitar
As of this year, I have been playing guitar for 7 years. In highschool I played for the Varsity Classical Guitar Class, where we won UIL Sightreading and Ensemble in 2022.

Dhol
Dhol is a large metal drum traditionally played in the western state of Maharashtra. It weighs around 40lbs, and uses large leather pads to produce sound. I have played this instrument for 6 years through the MM non-profit organization.

Tasha
Tasha is a small snare like drum traditionally played along with the Dhol. Together they produce a harmonic bass like beat. I have played this instrument for 5 years through MM non-profit organization.
Languages
Marathi - Mahrati is a language spoken natively in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. I fluently speak this language, and use it on a daily basis. Marathi culture is extremally important to me, and I hope to continue to stay close to my roots throughout college.

Spanish - I have taken Spanish Classes in school for 5 years. I am able to fluently write Spanish, and I can speak it on an intermediate level. Spanish culture interests my as well, and I have made contributions to the Latin community through Spanish Honor Society.
